Put simply, the most frequent words our people use to describe working at
Cambridge Assessment are
friendly, enjoyable
and
challenging.
Not enough to convince you yet? Well, here are just some of the things we
believe help contribute to this view:

Interesting and rewarding work with a conscience
Whether you are part of our catering team or developing one of our new
qualifications, every person here is helping to make a difference. Being part of
the education of eight million candidates in 150 countries around the world
every year, means we are all helping to open doors to a better future every day.
And whether you are passionate about that or not, we think you’ll agree it is
always good to know you’re working with a Group with a conscience.
Values
There are four organisation values that are important to us:
|
Collaboration |
 |
Openness |
 |
Taking Responsibility |
 |
Innovation & Improvement |
We expect people at every level of the Group to demonstrate these values in all
areas of their work, and whilst there are other things that are important to
each business area as well, we aim for these to be at the heart of everything we
do. And we believe actions speak louder than words when it comes to
demonstrating this.
Great people
We think we’re great people to work with, but then maybe we’re biased! What we
are certain about though is that if you join us you’ll be surrounded by talented
people with diverse backgrounds and skills, working together in a friendly and
supportive way.
Real development
opportunities
As one of Europe’s largest assessment agencies we have ambitious plans to become
the leading world authority on assessment. It matters to us that people rise to
bigger challenges and reach their potential, so as your ambitions and interests
grow there will be opportunities to move around the business and gain new
skills.
We offer an environment where people’s development is at the heart of what we do
and see development as a continuous process rather than an occasional event.
We’ll expect you to take responsibility for fulfilling your own potential but
with an extensive training and development programme in place, we will provide
the opportunities for you to manage this.
Reputation
In 2008, we celebrated 150 years and we are still going strong! We’re proud of
our heritage – being part of Cambridge University has helped us get where we are
today. However it is not all we are by a long way. Our reputation for quality is
important to us and now is an exciting time to be joining the Cambridge
Assessment Group a
s we continue to gear up for the future – on screen marking,
results by text – just a couple of examples of innovative product developments
that are helping to keep us at the forefront of assessment.
Locations and facilities
Did you know that we’re not only based in Cambridge? We also have sites in
Coventry, as well as a number of other smaller offices around the
UK and overseas. We’re continuing to invest in new facilities and infrastructure
across the Group so that our people can enjoy bright and airy offices equipped
with up-to-date technology; helping them to keep working at their best.
